Daria Feldman is a graduate of the Hebrew University in the Departments of General and Comparative Literature and English, and an MA graduate from the Department of English. Her thesis 'Within the Wires: Podcast, Dystopia, Ekphrasis, and the Derridean Supplement' dealt with contemporary dystopian literature. She is currently a doctoral student in the Department of English Literature.

Her Doctoral work, which is written under the supervision of Prof. Yael Levin, focuses on the representation of art in contemporary dystopian fiction in various mediums. Through her work, she hopes to chart the evolution of a genre that highlights the tension between the ideologies around which humans fashion their environment and the material experience of that reality by outlining how art and the discourse around it contribute to the making of national histories while simultaneously prompting the conception of individual identity as a path of mental resistance to authoritarianism.
