Avraham (Avi) is a Ph.D student in the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He holds a B.A. in Archaeology and Hebrew Language and an M.A. in Archaeology, which he completed as a member  of the Masters Honors Program at the Mandel School. His thesis re-analyzed the archaeology of the Dead Sea Oasis of Ein-Gedi during the Late Iron Age (7th–6th c. BC).

Avraham's doctoral research, written under the supervision of Dr. Uri Davidovich, explores the history of the desert and fringe regions of the southern Levant during the Persian period (6th-4th c. BC). His research involves an analysis of several archaeological sites in southern Israel, aiming to develop a better understanding of the region's material culture during this period. Thus, it allows a comprehensive examination of aspects of regional movement, social changes, and intercultural relations.
