Dr. Geoffrey Herman is currently a senior researcher of the Question of Identity group, and teaches in the department of Contemporary Jewry and History of the Jewish People. His scholarly interests include the Jews of Sasanian Babylonia; the Sasanian Empire, Zoroastrianism and Sasanian Christianity. Many of his publications have focused on the axis between Jewish and Persian culture in the Talmud.
