Hadas Schlussel is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Communication and Journalism at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her dissertation project, supervised by Professor Paul Frosh, studies videos on social media as embodied multi-sensorial experiences, which rise to the challenges of attention in the digital age. Hadas holds a bachelor's degree in communication from Ariel University and a master's degree in communication from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her MA thesis, written under the supervision of Professor Paul Frosh, analyzed the engagement of senses like taste and touch in recipe videos on Facebook. She also holds a foundation degree from Maaleh Film School. Hadas is a recipient of a Scholion-Scholarship, and a group member of "The Evolution of Attention" research group.
