Kevin Grasso is a PhD student in the Hebrew Language department, and his professor is Dr. Elitzur Bar-Asher Siegal. His work mainly involves applying modern semantic theory to Biblical Hebrew. His MA thesis was on the verbal system of Biblical Hebrew, and he plans to work on lexical semantics for his PhD dissertation. His broader academic interests include anything in linguistics concerning the syntax-semantics interface, Semitic languages, Koine Greek, and the Bible.
